On May 20, a delegation led by Kinga Flaga-Gieruszyńska, Vice President of the Szczecin University, and Joanna Misiukajtis, Director of the International Department of Szczecin University visited our university. Dai Shixun, Vice President of Ningbo University, met with the delegation.
During the meeting, Dai Shixun extended a warm welcome to President Kinga Flaga-Gieruszyńska and the delegation. According to him, Ningbo University has attached importance to internationalization since its establishment, and now it is in the process of development to a comprehensive research university, and internationalization is taken as an important strategy for development. Szczecin University is an old friend and also an important partner in the internationalization of Ningbo University. The cooperation between the two universities has a solid foundation, and it is hoped that the university-level exchanges will be further deepened in pragmatic cooperation to promote our cooperation and development. Kinga Flaga-Gieruszyńska gave a detailed introduction to Szczecin University. She said that Szczecin University is a comprehensive university with complete disciplines and they attach great importance to cooperation with Ningbo University, hoping to broaden the fields of discipline cooperation with Ningbo University in the future to open a new chapter for the cooperation between the two sides.
At the meeting, Dai Shixun presented Joanna Misiukajtis with a certificate of friendship envoy between the two universities, to thank Joanna Misiukajtis for her contributions to the two universities in talent cultivation, cultural exchange and scientific research cooperation, etc.
After the meeting, Kinga Flaga-Gieruszyńska and Joanna Misiukajtis together with their delegation visited the School of Foreign Languages and attended a meeting with the faculty and students. In the next few days, Kinga Flaga-Gieruszyńska and Joanna Misiukajtis will visit the School of Law and the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Geography Science and carry out a series of academic exchange activities.
