By the end of 2018, NBU has received the givings of more than 200 million yuan from its alumni.
In the China University Alumni Associations' Giving List published by Cuaa.Net, NBU ranks the 34th in China and the first among provincially-run universities.
The school has established a long-term mechanism to encourage alumni giving, and launched a new model of Alumni Parent Fund.
The first alumni parent fund, the Bailulin I Fund, totaling 100 million yuan, was jointly established by the outstanding alumnus Ye Jianrong and the NBU Education Development Foundation, which was officially registered with the National Fund Association.
The alumni parent fund mainly invests in alumni enterprises with a certain scale and high-speed growth, students’ startup projects and other companies, aiming to promote the integration of production, education and research and the development of alumni enterprises, gather alumni forces to develop synergy and construct a community of shared future with alumni.
