International students education is a significant aspect of Ningbo University’s internationalization strategy. Ningbo University offers 19 undergraduate and 33 postgraduate English-medium programs for international students.

Currently, 2,368 students from 104 countries and regions are registered at Ningbo University. Among all the international students, 77% of them are pursuing degree programs (including master's or doctoral program students). The rest are in non-degree or exchange programs. Ningbo University has the largest number of international degree program students among Zhejiang provincial universities.
