On January 12th, 2018, Mr. Shen Manhong, president of Ningbo University, received officials from the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA), including Mr. Wang Song, Director General of the Department of Cultural and Educational Experts; Mr. Chui Haichun, Director of Planning Division; Mr. Xu Gang, Director General of SAFEA Ningbo Office, Mr. Cai Jiemin, Deputy Director General of the office, and Ms. Liao Weiwei, Deputy Director General of the office.

The president acknowledged the SAFEA’s support to the university and introduced the university’s progress in the last 30 years on faculty development, academic research, and international cooperation. He also expressed the wish to receive continued support from the SAFEA.

The officials were introduced to the Base for Introducing Professionals in New Communication Technology and the Base for Introducing Professionals in Marine Biopharmaceutical.

The university’s achievements were recognized by Mr. Wang Song, who also raised suggestions for the university’s recruitment and internationalization.

Staff members of the International Office of Cooperation and Medical School also took part in receiving the officials.
