From May 22nd to May 24th, a delegation of 17 professors from Purdue University,USA visited our university.

During the visit, foreign guests watched the promotional video of Ningbo University to learn about the history and current situation of the development of Ningbo University. Afterwards, a meeting was held between Chinese and foreign teachers and students. Teachers from business schools, law schools, mechanical colleges and schools of chemical engineering and materials as well as teachers and students from various colleges conducted group exchanges with the teachers from Purdue University. The teachers combined the characteristics of the colleges and started the exchanges and discussions with the guests in academic, scientific research, teaching and other areas. The two parties expected to strengthen cooperation and promote conversations to expand cooperation and exchanges at all levels between the two universities.

Purdue University teachers also visited Nantang Old Street characterized with strong folk culture of Ningbo, and the landmark Tianyi Square. Ningbo’s profound cultural heritage and the rapid development of the modern economy have left a deep impression on them.

The visit of the teachers’ delegation further deepened the exchanges between the two universities and laid the foundation for the establishment of a long-term cooperation mechanism between the two parties.
