On June 9, Yao Juming, Vice President of Ningbo University, attended the 7thChina (Ningbo)-CEEC Education Cooperation Exchange upon invitation.

At the opening ceremony of the CEEC Education Cooperation Exchange, Yao Juming entered into the PhD Scholarship Program with Szczecin University in Poland on behalf of Ningbo University, and the China-CEEC “Sports Education and Research” Alliance established under the initiative of Ningbo University was inaugurated and founded. Loan Vasile Abrudan, President of the University of Transylvania Brasov, a partner institution of Ningbo University, delivered a keynote speech entitled “Think Tank Construction and Digital Education”.

In recent years, Ningbo University has sized the great opportunity that Ningbo becomes the permanent venue of the “China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo” to actively cooperate with colleges and universities in Central and Eastern Europe. It has successively carried out university-level exchange visits, student communication and exchanges, “2+2” joint training, faculty academic research cooperation, joint academic conferences, etc. with 20 universities including University of Bucharest, University of Transylvania Brasov, University of Novi Sad, University of Belgrade, Szczecin University, Technical University of Lodz, Eotvos Lorand University, University of Szeged, Bratislava University of Economics and Mediterranean University, etc. After several years of development, the exchange visits between Ningbo University and Central and Eastern European colleges and universities have become more and more frequent, the joint training model has been innovated, the joint scientific research has been continuously promoted, and the fruitful achievements have been made in talent training.
