On the afternoon of October 24th, the foreign affairs meeting of Ningbo University was held, which aimed to make an arrangement for the second half of 2019. Vice President Shao Qianjun attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

At the meeting, Acting Deputy Director of International Office introduced the assessment of the special target of internationalization, and the international situation of Ningbo University in 2019 from the following aspects, including student exchange, Sino-foreign cooperative education project, foreign experts and teachers, international conference, international scientific research platform and the construction of Confucius Institute.

Vice President Shao Qianxi made a speech. He emphasized that internationalization is one of the development strategies of Ningbo University. Internationalization should promote the improvement of school-running ability and level. All colleges should continue to expand the academic circle and further deepen the internationalization of the college. He demanded that Ningbo University have its own road map for internationalization. While doing the work of "going out”and “bring in", our shool should continue to promote the "one school, one specialization" work, identify the cooperation goals, and carry out comprehensive cooperation. At the same time, all colleges must learn international policy and properly use the national, provincial, municipal, and school-related international policies, so that we could promote the internationalization of Ningbo University in a reasonable way.

During the meeting, the participants actively made statements, exchanged ideas and contributed suggestions for the internationalization of Ningbo University.
