报告人:Nobuyoshi Ohta教授,NITEP 邀请人:陈斌 教授 报告时间:2025年11月24日(周一)9:00 报告地点:龙赛理科楼南楼414会议室 报告人简介: Professor Nobuyoshi Ohta is currently a visiting professor at the Nambu Yoichiro Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (NITEP), Osaka Metropolitan University. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in March 1982. Following postdoctoral positions at the University of Tokyo and INFN Rome, he joined the faculty of Osaka University in October 1983. In April 2006, he moved to Kindai University, where he served until his retirement in March 2021. He has also held a visiting professorship at National Central University in Taiwan for three years before assuming his current role at Osaka Metropolitan University. Professor Ohta’s research spans particle physics and gravitational theories, with a focus on string theory, black holes, cosmic inflation, and quantum gravity. His work has been widely cited, with over 11,000 citations on Google Scholar and more than 10,000 on INSPIRE. 报告摘要: We study the essential renormalization group equation, in which inessential couplings are removed via field redefinitions, for Einstein gravity coupled to a massive scalar field in the presence of a cosmological constant. We find that perturbatively nonrenormalizable terms can be eliminated due to the cosmological term by field redefinition, in contrast to the case of perturbation around flat spacetime. This means that the Einstein gravity with cosmological constant and scalar fields is nonperturbatively renormalizable. We also find nontrivial fixed points for the Newton coupling and the cosmological term. 欢迎各位感兴趣的师生观摩、学习!
