浙东物理前沿讲坛第416讲:Super Massive Black Holes in Galaxies Surrounded by Dark Matter Halos: Gravitational Waves from EMRIs/IMRIs and Nature of Dark Matter

报告人:王安忠 教授,Baylor University 邀请人:陈斌 教授 报告时间:2026年6月24日(周三),10:00 报告地点:龙赛理科楼南楼414会议室 报告摘要: Despite strong evidence for dark matter (DM) from Planck and other observations, its nature remains unknown. Every galaxy forms inside a DM halo and hosts a supermassive black hole (SMBH) at its center, with Sagittarius A* and M87* now imaged by the Event Horizon Telescope. Gravitational wave (GW) astronomy adds new impetus, as millions of compact objects orbiting SMBHs produce intermediate or extreme mass-ratio inspirals (IMRIs/EMRIs) - key targets for future GW detectors. As a first step, we recently constructed analytical solutions describing such systems that satisfy all energy conditions. In this talk, I will briefly introduce the subject, build a semi-classical anisotropic fluid model for spherical DM halos, and present our analytical solutions. 报告人简介: Prof. Anzhong Wang earned his 1991 Ph.D. from the University of Ioannina, Greece, with prior physics degrees in China. Previously a full professor at Brazilian institutions, he is now a tenured professor at Baylor University and serves on editorial boards of international journals. His research spans classical and quantum gravity and their astrophysical and cosmological applications. Ranked among Stanford’s top 2% most-cited scientists with three monographs and 300+ publications, he currently focuses on gravitational waves, black holes and quantum gravity with NSF support. 欢迎各位感兴趣的师生观摩、学习!
